Toppo’s dramatic transformation has taken a toll on Universe 7’s warriors as they continue to struggle against his elevating power of destruction. Vegeta enlightens us with a powerful and uplifting moment that stands out from some disappointing aspects of this episode.

Android 17 juggles with his fate when he continues to fight against Toppo. This was a feeble part of the episode that only satisfied us with flashy ki-blasts and obliterating attacks. Throughout the fight, Toppo would repeatedly tell Android 17 that he had no chance in defeating him and made it utterly distracting in this battle. It felt like both warriors were just dancing and killing time. We would except to see Android 17 play out his impressive strategic ways, instead we get a half-empty battle that we wish to be over.

Frieza is alive and kicking as he reappears to save Android 17 from Toppo and unintentionally of course. The villainy warrior attempts his ultimate revenge by holding the God of Destruction with a paralysis attack that failed miserably. Frieza was once a very intimidating foe that sadly is made fun of now and I’m not sure if that is a bad or good thing. Sooner or later Frieza will tire of defending his own planet and change sides again or come up with another devious plan.

The reminiscing flashback in the battle against Vegeta and Majiin Buu, during the Z series, was a powerful and impactful touch to this episode. Vegeta’s backbone is his family and the people he cares most for, that gave him the strength to surpass Toppo’s overwhelming power. His growth as a character has definitely progressed in this series. Knowing that Vegeta can surpass a God, things can get interesting if he ever goes up against Beerus in a friendly brawl.

Episode 126 started off shaky but ended with meaningful and impacting development from the Prince of Saiyans. Toppo is defeated and Jiren is the last standing from Universe 11, along with 4 remaining warriors from Universe 7. So many things are coming to mind from this point on and we look forward to see how the all mighty Jiren will be taken down.
