This is going to be mean, but I have a hard time calling this a comic book. It seemed more like the ramblings of a talented artist without an editor or writer to guide them. Betty & Veronica is hands down, one of the worst comics I’ve read ever. EVER.

Listen, no one was buying this for Adam Hughes writing. They were buying it for the art and hoping to god a story found its way inside. It didn’t. But then AH! decided he’d be cute and have two fucking blank pages and a thumbnail of B and V sunbathing that was not rewarding or amusing. Even sadder, we’ll never see issue 2. I will bet you my two cats that this shit will be rebooted again next year with a different creative team and they’ll be so heavily edited that it’s likely to end up back on this list again.

EDIT: Apparently the second issue came out... I didn't read it. I highly doubt it would have turned anything around. Also... two issues in a year... they're on fire!
