Here's The Safe For Work Iron Man XXX Parody Video

At this point I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that there are more superhero porn videos a year than there are superhero movies. Well Axel Braun is at it again. This looks like a lower budget Iron Man movie that has sex scenes. Duh. It's safe for work, but I don't know if that title will get you in trouble or not. It's a thing, that's about all I have to say about it.

Telltale Games Takes Another Swing At Porting A Comic Darling into Games

Telltale Games, responsible for the critically (and commercially) succesful The Walking Dead: A Telltale game series, is in the works to take on yet another comic book based project The Wolf Among Us. Based on Bill Willingham's award winning Vertigo comic's hit, Fables.

The games will follow a slew of fairy tale charecters as they try to make their way in modern day New York City. Playing as Bigsby Wolf (one guess who?) players will be challenged to try and keep other story book charecters like the three little pigs themselves, out of public eye and thus danger. Telltale did a spectacular job with their Walking Dead series last year which went only to be groomed by many gaming sites as THE gaming expirence of the year, heres hoping they knock one out of the park again on their next adaptation of what looks to be another intriging and intense comic book world. The game will be coming to every platform (including Mac) at a yet to be announced date in the near future. Get pumped.

Good News Everyone! Loeb and McGuinness Are Already Leaving Nova

I'm not going to go into all of the boring details, but on Marvel's "Next Big Thing" call/blog they detailed Loeb and McGuinness' exit from Nova after issue #5. Taking over will be Zeb Wells and Paco Medina (Medina's design is on the right).

Loeb covered in boring detail what the remaining chapters in his story would cover and alluded that the series about Novas, not just Nova. The rest of the info was generic marketing crap and pretty boring. What's up for Loeb and McGuinness next? Nothing announced, but there is something in the works! Can wait to see what Loeb puts his dick in next.

Ferals #13 Out This Week From Avatar Press

Again, this isn't a preview of the book, but as we've discussed on the podcast (CBMFP) Avatar Press has some wicked awesome covers. Here's a look at them and a blurp from Avatar about the issue that you can get now!

From Avatar Press:

A brand new arc begins this week in Ferals #13!  The lazy drunken Dale Chesnutt is gone.  He’s become a feral beast bent on ripping the lungs out of the man that took his woman.  David Lapham continues to deliver consistently powerful tales that have redefined werewolf mythology into a slick modern survival horror story.  If you haven’t tried Ferals yet, this is the time to do so.  CBR called it “a fun romp and guilty pleasure series at the top of its class” and  FEARnet said The comic is gleefully adult, relishing sprays of blood and the occasional nipple. It has a sense of abandon that sweeps the reader with it. You feel caught in this million-mile-an-hour story…”

Ferals is a book that you can’t go wrong with.  If you want a series that is clever, violent, sexy, and flat out incredibly illustrated, Ferals will deliver all that and more.

Fox Was Like, "One Trailer Isn't Enough" - Gives The World Two The Wolverine Trailers

Aw fucking finally! If these/this trailer wasn't so good I would have been pissed after two full days of The Wolverine hype. I actually think this movie could be good. Good enough to make me forget all about that terrible monstrosity that was Origins. Why is there two trailers you ask? One is domestic and on is international. They're practically the same with a slightly different order and maybe five to ten seconds of different footage. There's ninjas in both though! Both are after the jump.

Title Announcement: Brooklyn Animal Control - A Digital One-Shot From IDW

Currently on sale for .99 cents so grab it!

What if werewolves were actually living among us? What if they had been for hundreds of years? It’s a wild thought, isn’t it?

Wilder still, what if these clans of werewolves were actively policed by a government organization?

That’s exactly the intriguing question IDW Publishing is answering today with the release of BROOKLYN ANIMAL CONTROL, a darkly thrilling digital one-shot from writer J.T. Petty (Splinter Cell, Bloody Chester) and artist Stephen Thompson (Star Trek: New Frontier).

In BROOKLYN ANIMAL CONTROL’s world, werewolves have become deeply entrenched in modern America, operating in plain sight as productive members of society, from construction workers to occupants of the highest echelons of power. More often than not, the longstanding werewolf clans conduct themselves to maintain a peaceful productivity with the human population. When that peace is disrupted, however, the B.A.C. has to suit up and step in, and as one could imagine, sometimes that can be a messy job.

Focusing on the titular agency, BROOKLYN ANIMAL CONTROL delves into the world John Crean, a B.A.C. warhorse and expert in werewolf affairs. When a conspiracy erupts from within one of America’s oldest werewolf clans, the Kveldulf, it threatens to disrupt the balance forever. As blood spills and Crean attempts to get to the bottom of the conspiracy, there’s no telling how deep it goes or how many innocents from either side will be caught in the middle.

BROOKLYN ANIMAL CONTROL is on sale TODAY for a special, limited time price of 99¢ via the IDW Comics app, Comics by comiXology, the iBookstore, or online at read.idwpublishing.com!

Wonder Con '13: DC/WB Announce New Documentary - Necessary Evil: Villains of DC Comics

The Joker, Bane, Deathstroke, Darkseid and Lex Luthor -- the scariest and most menacing villains in DC Comics’ universe -- take center stage in a brand new full-length documentary from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE) and DC Entertainment (DCE). The joint announcement was made today by WBHE and DCE.

Christopher Lee, who has played the villain more times than almost any other actor, will provide his unique voice as narrator. His roles in more than 200 films include star turns as Dracula, the Mummy and Frankenstein’s monster in Hammer horror classics, Count Dooku in Star Wars, and Saruman in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit films.

In this new documentary film, the malevolent, sometimes charismatic figures from DC Comics’ hallowed rogues’ gallery will be explored in depth, featuring interviews with the famed creators, storytellers and those who have crafted the personalities and profiles of many of the most notorious villains in comic book history.

Production begins March 30, to coincide with WonderCon at the Anaheim Convention Center March 29-31.

Noted Geoff Johns, best-selling author and DCE’s Chief Creative Officer, “DC Comics is known for many things, but chief among them is the compelling, diverse and legendary society of super-villains who populate its universe. From the monstrous Solomon Grundy to the brutal Black Adam to the charismatic Sinestro, there is no single greater collection of villainy in all of fiction. These villains are hugely popular comic book characters in their own right and, quite honestly, many are often times more popular than some of our iconic super heroes.”

Jeff Baker, WBHE’s Executive Vice President and General Manager, Theatrical Catalog, added “The DC brand is enjoying a huge resurgence thanks to the entire leadership team at DC Entertainment which is driving opportunities not only for new theatrical properties, but for brand extensions as well. This new documentary will reinforce this evolving strategy and leverage DC assets across the entire studio landscape.”

Johns also reiterated that this year’s initiative will be a turning point for DCE. “It’s time we deconstruct these complex and sinister antagonists and celebrate the role they play as the engine and energy of some of the greatest storytelling in comics. 2013 is the Year of the Villain at DC Comics.”

On Saturday, March 30th, fans attending WonderCon are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite DC Comics’ villain for an opportunity to be featured in the documentary. Fans can join DCE at WonderCon Booth 801 with filming to take place Saturday from 10:30 am – Noon. To find out more about where and what time to meet in the WonderCon DC Entertainment booth, keep checking the DC Comics Facebook (Facebook.com/DCComics) and Twitter sites (@DCComics).

Participation in upcoming ‘cons’ (Comic-Con International: San Diego and New York Comic Con) is anticipated, with a full release scheduled for later in the year.

C2E2 '13: New Publishers Added To This Years Show

Officials at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) have announced that there will be many new and fresh faces at the annual pop culture extravaganza this year. Several notable comics publishers will be exhibiting at the show for the first time. They will be joining other leading publishers, such as Marvel and DC Entertainment, who have helped to make C2E2 the preeminent pop culture event in the Midwest since its debut in 2010. Officials are projecting that exhibitor space at C2E2 will be approximately 25 percent larger than last year! A few of the creative and innovative new companies on hand this year will be Action Lab Entertainment, Athleta Comics and Lion Forge Comics. In addition, Reload Comics and 2000 AD/Rebellion will be at C2E2 for the first time promoting their widely popular properties and titles.

In addition to Marvel and DC, some other returning publishers include Anomaly Productions, Archaia, Avatar Press, Big Dog Ink, Boom! Studios, Dark Horse, Medallion Press, Quirk Books, Valiant Entertainment, Xigency Studios and Zenescope Entertainment. All these publishers will have new comic books and stories to reveal at C2E2 and they will have fresh, original artwork to display in their booths. DC Entertainment has provided the original poster art for this year’s show which features Superman in an iconic Chicago setting. The Marvel booth will be centrally located on the show floor where fans will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with creators and staff. Many of the publishers will also be participating in panels, providing show exclusives, and will be bringing their top talent to meet the thousands of fans on hand at C2E2.

As noted, C2E2 has quickly become the largest and most influential pop culture event in the Midwest. It attracted just over 27,000 fans when it was launched in 2010 and grew to over 41,000 fans last year. While it is impossible to project attendance for 2013, convention officials note that ticket sales are running between 85% - 95% ahead of the same time last year, virtually guaranteeing that this will be the most widely attended C2E2 to date. This year’s C2E2 will take place April 26 – 28 in the West Building at McCormick Place Convention Center.

“The fact that we have so many really cool first time publishers signing up for our show is the best news I could possibly be sharing,” notes Lance Fensterman, Global Vice President for ReedPOP and Show Manager for C2E2. “Presenting new original content and being able to provide fans an opportunity to meet artists and creators who they have never met before is the lifeblood of what we do! We want to provide a home where our new customers feel instantly happy and productive and where our fans come away feeling like they have ‘discovered’ something. I am hugely grateful to all the publishers who have decided to join us for the first time this year and I know our fans will do everything they can to make C2E2 a great experience for them.”

Examples of the various projects that some of these publishers will be promoting at C2E2 include:

Action Lab Entertainment, publisher of the 2012 two-time Eisner nominated Princeless, will be at C2E2 to introduce their lineup of creator-owned comics. They will be presenting at the Diamond Retailer Summit and will talk about Jamal Igle’s Molly Danger, NFL Rush Zone, Jeremy Dale’s Skyward, Princeless, Vamplets: Nightmare Nursery, Pirate Eye and their new Mature Readers line called Action Lab: Danger Zone.

Athleta Comics is owned by Israel Idonije, the longtime defensive player for the Chicago Bears. Mr. Idonije will be coming to C2E2 to promote his first comic project The Protectors. Idonije was inspired to create The Protectors when he had an idea for a superhero who would appeal to both comic book enthusiasts and die-hard sports fans.  He has teamed up with the creative team of writer Ron Marz and artist Bart Sears and Idonije, Marz and Sears will be at the Athleta booth throughout the show and will participate in a panel!

Lion Forge Comics will unveil its two latest publications on Saturday, April 27 at C2E2.  Former Playboy 2011 Playmate of the Year has partnered with Lion Forge on the use of her image and story line for Wonderous: The Aventures of Claire Sinclair. Actor Flex Alexander has collaborated with Lion Forge on a cyber-thriller comic called The Joshua Run.  Alexander notes: “I am very excited to be a part of C2E2 this year. This is big for me because I grew up a comic book fan and collector. I can’t wait for everyone to get into the world of The Joshua Run. It is going to be an amazing ride!”

United Kingdom publisher Reload will be making their first U.S. convention appearance at C2E2. They will promote their flagship title, Jericho, which was created by Fwah Storm, self-described as a “musician, magician, poet, illustrator, a proud member of Reload Comics and so much more!” Storm notes that Reload will be bringing their books, merchandise and promotional material (along with some other goodies!) to C2E2.

The staff at 2000 AD/Rebellion note: “After hearing such good things about C2E2, we knew exactly where we’d be spreading the 2000 AD Thrill-power! We’ll be promoting our North American line of collections – from classics such as Judge Dredd and Sláine the Barbarian, to more modern titles like Leviathan and Zombo – as well as bringing a few little British treats across for fans new and old! We’ll also have a great panel on the Friday evening at 7:45pm with several top names that will be very familiar to US audiences! We can’t wait to get to Chicago and introduce new readers to the amazing galaxy of characters from 2000 AD!”

Tickets for C2E2 are currently on sale at www.C2E2.com. Anyone interested in exhibiting at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo should contact Larry Settembrini, Larry@ReedPOP.com.  As noted, more guests and activities will be announced in the month ahead and fans should keep their eyes on C2E2’s website for additional comics and entertainment announcements.

Teaser: Violet - "I Know My Sword is Designer"

As promised, here's the second teaser for Kurtis J. Wiebe's new project that will be announced for C2E2. Has there ever been a more hipster ass statement then the one above? I don't know, but I chuckled and my interest is all a flutter. How many more weeks until C2E2? Check back on Monday afternoon for the next teaser.

Teaser: Hannah - "I've Conjured a Little Fuck You"

I laughed a lot when I first read that. This is a teaser for the new mystery project from Kurtis Wiebe that he'll be announcing at C2E2. We'll have this week's teaser just after this one, but you'll have to check back next Monday for the latest teaser. Whatever it is, I like it. We'll get you more details after or during C2E2, but until then enjoy the awesomeness of Hannah.

Review: Peanuts #7

I applaud Kaboom Studios for their expert handling of this license.  For the second issue under my review the Peanuts Gang have been finding new, entertaining adventures that would make Charles Schulz proud.

The artists submitting to the comic’s collection of vignettes do not take liberties; instead, they recreate everyone from Charlie Brown to Woodstock in faithful fashion.  I appreciate the bold, vibrant colors used for the production of the book.  Small children will be fascinated and entertained by the palette of colors.

Best of all, the writing proves humorous, innocent, and entertaining.  I enjoyed the book and laughed at all the right times.  When the hijinks continue, they are non-offensive and at the cost of Charlie Brown most times.  I can see a parent curling up on a rainy day with a child and introducing the tyke to the love of comics through their best representatives: Charles Schulz’s endearing cast of characters.

Included in this issue are stories focusing on Schroeder, the whole gang at the bowling alley, and Charlie Brown writing a fan letter.  Classic Peanuts strips appear, also.

I am content that Charlie Brown and the gang continue to have great stories told about them, and I am a fan of Kaboom for their perfect execution of the legacy created by a man named Charles Schulz who wanted to make the world a little better by drawing some funny pictures.
