We're on the road this week, but we still managed to get you a podcast! We were going to do more, but this shit is tiring! We go on a big rant about the food we've eaten and then it's panel coverage for the rest of it. Frankly, our brains are mush and we couldn't remember what we read this week and C2E2 was far more important. Kevin and I both attended Avatar Press' panel and Valiant Comics triumphant return to the convention circuit. I cover Aspen Comics panel along with IDW's. Be sure to check out ComicBastards.com to get the full details on all of the panels we attended and look out for our video and video interviews coming throughout the week.

The boys talk about Avengers Vs X-Men comic because, hey who isn’t talking about that book? There’s also a few upcoming comic movie adaptations that they ponder. Then Kevin in all of his stupid wisdom calls Zenescope’s The Waking, The Walking because of that damn tricky font. The comics that get covered this week are Danger Girl Revolver, The Last American, Foreign Matter and more!

Hi! This week I do a super piss poor job of describing Mark Millar and Leinil Francis Yu SuperCrooks.(I’ll get better at this soon, I promise). Then we go on about the money structure of talent in comics! Fair pay for fair work! Someone asks us how to fix the Red Lanterns and we reply with a cool idea! Comic wise we talk Luther Strode for the last time, The Thirty-Six and Unstoppable Tuff Girl and The Birth of Venus.

We've got a treat on this episode as well, and if you don't like it, then you probably don't enjoy our podcast. Just kidding you love it right? Please validate me with your words! Alright enough of that crap, we talk about DC in depth this time not just vague mentions. Then we touch base on some Marvel and wrap up with Rachel Rising since Kevin is finally caught up on the book. Enjoy you Bastards.

I’m real sorry about the title of this week’s CBMFP, but I couldn’t think of anything that could capture the vibe of this episode more than pee that smells… To kick things off, we pick a winner of the 1,000 post caption contest, and we talk about the comic book-inspired movie, Chronicle. Dustin brings up The Darkness 2 video game even though I think we already talked about it. But it’s cool. The books that got read this week include Reign, Hell Yeah. Holliday, Turning Tiger and more! So the CBMFP turns 18, and she’s ready to party!

What a week we've all had huh? We hit our 1,000th post and then totally forgot to pick a winner on the podcast which buys all of you more time! This week we discuss the first episode of Comic Book Men, and how much it bored us, then we dive right into books we've read. For myself, it was Project 17, The Pack and the Black Swan. On Kevin's side of things, he talked about Rotten from Moonstone Books and the new Dragon Age digital only comic book coming out this week from Dark Horse Comics. I think we talked about cocaine as well, but not in a positive way... I think.

Wow, what a week! Lawsuits, lawsuits everywhere. If you worked in the world of comics, there's a good chance you caught a case. Not only that I read somePlanetary (by some I mean two issues) and Dustin read Harbor Moon andHunterPrey from Broken Icon Comics. To add to the madness, we also debate whether or not people should see The Avengers and Ghost Rider movies because of all the b.s. involved. Oh and there's an Earth 2 in your new 52!

First off, there's a little Watchmen news in this one in case you missed it. Then we ask the burning question, what is the "Safe Answer" when it comes to comic books? Something tells me you guys already know. Then there's a little dialog about some books we read like: The Waking, Robin: Year One, Batman: Noel, RatFist, Snowed In and more! Sit back, relax and experience an hour of Comic Bastard power!

Well in this white-knuckle thrill ride, a good friend gets us on the topic of time travel (again) by way of the book, The Red Wing. We wonder why the awesome talent that is Juan Jose Ryp isn't doing the art on the new Nancy in Hell series. Then it gets real indie with The Red Ten and Deadhorse, and then some asshole brings up DC again. Oh, and I played Gotham City! Fun times are NOW!

Not too much going on this week. We didn't have a chance to read much so this episode is a little all over the place and that's being nice about it. But fret not, laughs and comic insight are still to be had! We chat about Zenescope's Alice in Wonderland, the Ghost Rider movie trailer and DC's choice on logos. Have fun!

This week Dustin and I chat about comics, mostly of the indie variety like Rachel Rising and such. Then the conversation turns to the television show ( on E4 and I think I said channel 4 on the PC, whatever) and the new Blade cartoon/anime ( remember the live action Blade that lasted 5 seconds?) that's on G4! So if you're not up to date on either show be warned! Even if you aren't up to date, be warned. So just sit back, enjoy and let us take you away...

This is a heavy episode! We finally spill the beans on why we dislike Dynamite Entertainment so much and run through practically all of their licensed properties (its a big list). Then we put the whole "Frank Miller" thing to rest once and for all. "Comic Speak" makes a return this episode as well, so if you love the English language too bad!
