Well, you obviously didn't come here to see the buttfuck teasers that the WB is releasing in prep for the actual Justice League trailer they're unveiling on Saturday (God I hope it's during the podcast, so I don't have to talk about it). They released two teasers, and it's clear that Zack Snyder loves the green screen and doesn't want any of this to look real, but rather like the bastard shit of hisWatchmen film.

I can see the logic behind this, you have access to the property so why not pull a Hanna-Barbera and mash it up all adult like. I won't lie, this is great as fan art or even variant covers if you must, but seeing this in practice and for it to be a growing practice is worrisome. It reminds me of my recent "Unpopular Comic Opinion" that you can listen to here. Just a lot of licensed crap this week and I'm sure we'll see more of this when they're ready to show it.

It's got Deathstroke in it... so that's a plus. The voice acting sucks though and the story seems really generic. After the last one, I'm not in any rush to check out the WBA DC films. They had a good run... or something.

My Twitter profile picture should give you a general idea of my excitement for this film and for writing this review of it. The animated DC films as of late have been underwhelming. Part of me wants to say, “I’m glad they exist,” but then the other part of me has a hard justifying them when I don’t even want to show them to my child in the future.

Uh... why are we watching Batman shave? How is this interesting? It didn't convince me to plop down my hard earned money for this film, that's for sure. Also, "Three S's" refers to shit, shower and shave! You probably learned more with that than the clip.

Thanks to the success of The Killing Joke animated movie, DC/WB Animation has gone for another rated R animation, but this time it's using that weird fucking Justice League they created around the New 52. You know the one with Wonder Woman in the actually cool fucking costume, but sucked because she ate ice cream like an asshole.

The Big Book of Girl Power is essentially an encyclopedia of female characters in the DC Universe. Gives their origins, powers and occasionally their main villain. It is targeted towards children and it’s almost perfect in that regard.

Constantine: The Complete Series Arrives on October 4th
Darkness is rising, demons are everywhere … and one man stands between humanity and its worst nightmares: John Constantine. Warner Archive Collection (WAC) and DC Entertainment bring the live-action television series, Constantine: The Complete Series, to Blu-ray™ and DVD on October 4, 2016 via WBshop.com, Amazon and popular online retailers. Based on the wildly popular DC character, seasoned demon hunter and master of the occult John Constantine (Matt Ryan) is armed with a ferocious knowledge of the dark arts and a wickedly naughty wit. He fights the good fight – or at least he did. With his soul already damned to Hell, he’s decided to abandon his campaign against evil … until a series of events thrusts him back into the fray, and he’ll do whatever it takes to protect the innocent. With the balance of good and evil on the line, Constantine will use his skills to travel the country, find the supernatural terrors that threaten our world and send them back to where they belong. After that, who knows ... maybe there’s hope for him and his soul after all.
Matt Ryan (The Halcyon, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior) stars as Constantine, a role he has since reprised for Arrow and as the voice of the animated character in the upcoming Justice League Dark.
“Actors don’t generally like to revisit their own filmed performances, but I really enjoyed watching the episodes myself because Constantine is such a bold, outright character – both to play and to watch,” says Ryan. “He’s this brilliant ball of wise-cracking, chain-smoking street magic – and it’s so much fun exploring his fascinating, dark world of torment and mystery. I’m happy the fans will now have the opportunity to experience the series on Blu-ray, plus all the bonus features.”
The cast features Angélica Celaya (Dallas) as Zed, Charles Halford (True Detective, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) as Chas and Harold Perrineau (Lost, Blade: The Series) as Manny. Guest appearances include Jeremy Davies (Justified), Lucy Griffiths (True Blood, Preacher), David A. Gregory (One Life To Live), Michael James Shaw (Roots, Limitless), Claire van der Boom (Game of Silence, Hawaii Five-0), Skyler Day (Parenthood), Mark Margolis (Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad, Oz), Charles Parnell (The Last Ship), Michael McGrady (Ray Donovan, Southland), Joelle Carter (Justified) and Max Charles (The Strain, The Neighbors).
Writer Daniel Cerone (“The Mentalist,” “Dexter”) serves as executive producer with David S. Goyer (“Man of Steel,” “The Dark Knight Rises”). “Constantine” is produced from Bonanza Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. The show is based on the wildly popular comic book character from DC.
