Oh, Berserk. Where did you go wrong? You had soooo much potential and you blew it. Wait. I know exactly where you went wrong. It was your goddamn animation and it sucked. Even as the story continued and the animation managed to get slightly better, it was still a trainwreck.

As a "die-hard" fan of Berserk, this really pained me to put it on the list. It started off slow and ended with a bang, but the animation really took a toll on me. I wanted to like it more than I did, but my god, man. Horrendous animation toppled with a story that didn't even start at the right point in time lead this to be on my list. Better luck next time? Let's hope so.
