Servamp is probably best described as Yaoi vampires without the Yaoi. If you’ve ever listened to the CBMFP, then you know that Yaoi doesn’t faze me. In fact, just keep reading this list because there’s a prime pick on the “Best of” list. My problem with this is that A) vampires are annoying no matter how you do them and B) the story intentionally writes the main character in a corner. It pretty much just flat out tells you what’s going to happen in the story and it wasn’t good.
That and the tone of the story is weird as fuck. Is it horror? Is it cheese ball comedy? It did both, so it’s hard to say which it was going for. It shouldn’t have tried for both. Neither ended up working for it, and it made for an inconsistent feel to the entire story. I guess if you like overly attractive men sucking each other’s blood and can tolerate a story that is utter crap… then go for it.
