To start with, this is on here because of the title. Not only does it read like an incomplete sentence, but it’s misleading as fuck. Bait’n’switch is nothing new, but this is about high school students making a dating simulator game… now read the title again. Yeah, what the fuck did you think it would be about?
I didn’t finish this one. I have no problem admitting that. I watched enough to decide that I never wanted to see any more ever again. The characters were anime tropes cranked to 20 on a 10 dial. The tsundere character was so well past the point of tsundere that I cringed when she would talk. The plot was hollow; the characters were forced together, and none of it was fun to watch. That animation wasn’t even that good. If you want to see an anime about high schoolers making a dating sim, watch How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend; it’s not great, but its way better than Girls Beyond the Wasteland.
